Melissa Sonnek is a user experience designer based in the Twin Cities. Her work combines a background in graphic design with technology and user-centered design thinking. Her UX process begins with gaining knowledge of each clients business goals and user personas, and evolves into wireframes and final designs. Melissa currently works at Windmill Design, where she is responsible for all phases of the UX and UI process, from concepting and information architecture, wireframing and prototyping to visual design. While at Windmill Design, Melissa has created products and experiences for a wide range of brands in manufacturing, engineering, professional services, B2B, publishing, and non-profit.

Melissa received her BFA in Graphic Design from the Minnesota State University in 2007. Her foundation in design thinking informs her work as a UX designer.
